W. Martin Eisele, L.Ac.

Martin opened Evergreen Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in 2003 and has treated thousands of patients with great results, helping alleviate numerous types of illnesses. After a career in law, Martin returned to school and received his Oriental Medicine training at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. During school, Martin interned with Dr. Jeffrey Dann, an internationally known expert in Japanese Meridian Acupuncture. After completing a four-year program of study, he graduated in 2001 with a Master's degree in Science and Oriental Medicine. He continued his education in Shanghai, China, at Shu Guang Hospital and the Shanghai Acupuncture and Meridian Research Institute for nearly a year. Martin is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques (ASBART), and has served on the ASBART board as its president for ten years. As required by Arkansas law, he is nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He was the staff acupuncturist for the Mercy Center for Natural Health, an integrative medical clinic in Hot Springs Village founded by St. Joseph's Hospital, which included acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, counseling, and western medicine. He is regularly invited to lecture at UAMS to its staff and medical students. He also authors a column for the Little Rock Healthcare Journal, a magazine about medicine in Arkansas. Martin utilizes Dr. Richard Tan's Balance Method acupuncture (Gold Level practitioner) and studied regularly with Dr. Tan in his office and in seminars for over ten years before Dr. Tan's passing. He continues to train with Dr. Eileen Han, Dr. Tan's main disciple. Balance Method is known for achieving quick results with simple treatments. Martin has practiced Tai Chi Chuan and other Chinese Internal Arts for more than 20 years. He  teaches  at Inner Flow Tai Chi in Little Rock.
